Travis Sandoval first discovered the magic of blowing glass at Palomar College in San Diego—a passion that would eventually take him to Seattle, a hotbed of renowned American glass artists. After honing his technical skills in the Pacific Northwest, Travis received his BFA in sculpture at California College of the Arts in San Francisco in 2008. Since then, he has taught glass workshops at a variety of acclaimed schools including the famed Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Island, Maine, and the Toyama Glass School in Toyama, Japan.

In 2012 Travis launched Travis Sandoval Glass to create one-of-a-kind conceptual and functional glass art. He also works in close collaboration with designers, architects and celebrated artists such as Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra and the “underground architecture” group Ant Farm to produce custom glassworks.
